Are you looking for a beautiful place to retire your horse with individualized care and acres of grassy pastures? Does your off-the-track Thoroughbred need time off before beginning his new career? Is your horse recovering from an injury and in need of a period of rest in a private, small paddock? Or are you looking to join our little team of hunter/jumper/eventers?
Our nine-acre farm has beautiful grassy fields with run-in sheds overlooking the Shawangunk mountains, and a four-stall barn. Your horse will have 24/7 private or semi-private turnout with a well-matched companion in a paddock with a solid, three-sided solid run-in shed to escape the flies and heat. He'll also have a stall on days with inclement weather, particularly in the winter. Board includes grain fed twice daily, free choice first or second-cutting timothy/orchard/clover/brome grass hay, annual fecal testing and any necessary deworming, multiple daily health checks and basic first aid, blanket changes, fly spray, light grooming and baths, occasional Bute and Banamine if needed, photos and video updates, and tons of love, special attention, and healthy treats.
We also have a 20 x 40 meter (small dressage sized) outdoor riding arena. We can lunge your horse or keep him in light work if requested. Trainer Lauren Lucht is also available for hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing lessons.
