Are you looking for a beautiful place to retire your horse with individualized care and acres of grassy pastures? Does your off-the-track Thoroughbred need time off before beginning his new career? Is your horse recovering from an injury and in need of a period of rest in a private, small paddock? Or are you looking for a more private experience in lieu of a commercial barn?
Our eight-acre farm has beautiful grassy fields with run-in sheds overlooking the Shawangunk mountains, and a four-stall barn. We only take on two or three boarders at a time, allowing us to give your horse highly individualized care and attention. Your horse will have his own stall during the hottest (and buggiest) weather and snowiest winter days, but will otherwise enjoy full turnout with a small herd in our grassy paddocks and well-draining sacrifice paddocks with well-constructed run-in sheds for shelter. Board includes: Nutrena grain, free choice second-cutting timothy/orchard/clover/brome grass hay, deworming (with annual fecal test), multiple daily health checks and basic first aid, blanket changes, fly spray application, grooming and baths, photos and video updates, and tons of love, special attention, and healthy treats.
We also have a 20 x 40 meter (60’ x 132’) outdoor riding arena. We can lunge your horse or keep him in light work if requested. Trainers are also available for hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing lessons.
